Health Sector
Privatisation of the health sector has led to increasing competition among hospitals. This is reflected in the growing demands on the location and architecture of health centres. Existing facilities are generally a mix of buildings from different periods where the internal functional layouts no longer meet modern requirements. In addition to the modernisation of existing buildings new health centres are often built when several facilities are centralised.
